Social responsibility

To be socially responsible we need to think about our stakeholder's interests and then further. Our smallest initiatives could go on to empower thousands on the ground and billions of users online. That is why we recruit 55% of our workforce from social empowerment initiatives. This makes the basis of Epik Solutions corporate social responsibility.

We believe that our transformations don't have to be broad in scale. They can be at the level of the individual. To transform the future into the one of our dreams, we have to invest in students who will go on to make things possible. That is why Epik Solutions sponsors innovative projects by students and assists philanthropic institutions that offer training activities.

Student training and empowerment

We are proud to empower highly effective and dynamic people with training and experiences that elevate them and let them tailor their own future. That is how we joined forces with Team Cronus II and Sammy.

San José State University’s Team Cronus II designed a foldable unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for the 2017 Design / Build / Fly (DBF) competition, organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). The design process was preliminarily focused on conceiving a fast and lightweight aircraft that would perform well in the DBF flight missions and minimize the rated aircraft cost (RAC) score.

Samneet- or Sammy, as he is called at Epik Solutions- was the project manager, the team lead, and the controls lead for this project. The team won tenth place out of 95 teams in this international contest. The aircraft exceeded the team's own expectations and was a favorite of the audience. Special thanks to superhero Prof. Gonzalo Mendoza for making SJSU Aerospace Engineering a top contender in DBF for many years and guiding this team to a successful finish!

To transform the future, we have to tackle the challenges that are both near and distant. That is why we involve ourselves completely in initiatives that help promote the good work of non-profit organizations not just in the US, but all across the globe.

SosteNica promotes economic and community development in many regions of Nicaragua through credit, technical assistance, and outreach to low-income businesses and small farmers. Epik Solution helped SosteNica with its Solution Design and Development, along with building its brand presence. Today, we maintain their solution and provide brand management services philanthropically.

Plastic Bank

Plastic Bank creates a social and environmental impact in areas with high levels of poverty and plastic pollution by turning plastic waste into currency. Plastic Bank is globally recognized as one of the essential solutions to stop ocean plastic. We assist them in promoting their activities and help run their fundraising campaigns.

My aim is to help every customer and Epik Solutions associate to achieve growth and success on their terms – whether that involves financial freedom, social empowerment or business process improvement. My goal is to lead on your behalf and create an environment in which every associate constantly strives for mutual success, working closely with our customers.

This philosophy has driven all of us at Epik Solutions to make it a climate of fairness. It has created a place where we give out perks and benefits freely, compensating our associates above the industry-benchmarked pay ratios and incentive models. We help them embrace and work on the latest technologies via AI, ML, Cloud, Analytics and Digital Enablement initiatives.
